Replaced bubble wrap with wool

We founded Woola to replace plastic bubble wrap with a wonderful regenerative material that would otherwise go to waste – sheep wool. Replacing bubble wrap with surplus wool is just the starting point.

Switched to local wool sourcing

In June 2022, we switched over to sourcing wool locally. Today, we only use wool sourced locally from Estonian farmers.

Uses recycled paper layers

We use recycled paper for the outer layer of our Wool Envelope. Wool and paper layers are not glued or attached to each other to make it easy to separate the two for recycling.

Runs Know Your Wool checks

Woola has a Know Your Wool (KYW) process that includes in-person visits as well as 3rd party auditing for farms we work with.
