Signed sustainability MoUs

Through three Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs), WAZA is working to promote sustainable and responsible consumer consumption, improvement of industry standards and environmental awareness. These MoUs are: Roundtable for Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) – WAZA MoU on sustainable palm oil. Signed: 19 October 2017. United Nations Environment – WAZA MoU on marine plastic pollution, protecting coral reefs and reducing the demand for wildlife products. Signed: 27 September 2017. Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) – WAZA MoU on responsible management of forests. Signed: 24 October 2018.

WAZA has created a number of resources in multiple languages to help support WAZA members in their sustainable journeys.
