VF says its Worker & Community Development programme aims to improve the lives of 1 million workers and their communities by FY26. The company says it had already passed that mark in FY25, but the target still shows the scale of the original plan.

VF says it wants its Worker & Community Development programme to improve the lives of 2 million people by FY31. The programme supports projects for workers and communities across the company’s supply chain and operating regions.

VF says it has an aspiration to reach gender parity in director-level and above roles globally by 2030. Gender parity means having roughly equal numbers of women and men in leadership.

VF says it wants 25% representation of Black, Indigenous and People of Color (BIPOC) in director-level and above roles in the U.S. by 2030. BIPOC is a term for people from those communities.

Trace five key materials
VF says it plans to trace five key materials through all five supply chain tiers by FY28. This means it wants to follow those materials from the source all the way through processing, manufacturing, and final product stages.

Use 50% recycled polyester
VF says it has a target to source 50% of its polyester from recycled materials by FY26. Recycled polyester uses existing plastic instead of making new fossil-based polyester.
