Use only recycled polyester
Under Armour says it plans to use only recycled polyester by 2030. Polyester is a common synthetic fabric made from fossil fuels, so switching to recycled polyester can lower material impact if the change is real and large enough. Independent reviewers say the company has reported progress on this goal, but it appears to be off track so far.
