Ucon Acrobatics is associated with sustainability content focused on circularity and sustainable fashion. The available material highlights the role of reuse, second-hand clothing, and making circularity mainstream through workplace activations and conversations. The content does not provide a full corporate sustainability strategy, but it does show an emphasis on circular economy ideas and on encouraging people to view “new” as not the standard. No specific long-term targets, formal partnerships, or product sustainability details are stated in the source provided.

Ucon Acrobatics Sustainability Actions

Hosted This is Free Fashion

Last week, we hosted This is Free Fashion with a pop-up in our bol offices. In all honesty, hosting this felt a little conflicting at first. After all, we’re a commercial organisation. However, it fits our goal of making circularity mainstream as bol. Additionally, for years we’ve already had a tradition of gift swaps around this time of year. This initiative is simply a more professionalised version, with a bigger purpose: to highlight the role of circularity, in this case in fashion.

Promoted reuse in fashion

This is Free Fashion is a Dutch concept that turns the traditional retail model upside down. Instead of buying new, people bring in clothes they no longer wear and take home something “new-to-them” – for free. The pop-up looks and feels like a high-end boutique, but everything is second-hand. The goal? To make reuse aspirational and show that 'new does NOT need to be the standard'.

Used workplace to spark action

By bringing this concept into our workplace, we hope to spark conversations and inspire action. Because making circularity mainstream starts with us – the choices we make, the habits we form, and the stories we share.
