With every collection, we work continuously to optimize our production processes, with respect for people, animals and the environment.

Works with family workshops

Many of our suppliers are small family-owned workshops that preserve traditional artisanal techniques, craftsmanship often lost in modern mass production. These workshops are an important part of their local communities, and so our collaboration also supports the local economy.

Audits factories for standards

All our factories are independently audited for compliance with social standards and meet our SMAAK, including fair working conditions.

Visits production partners

We visit our partners regularly to develop new products together, ensure quality and keep our cooperation personal.

Works with Leather Working Group

We also work with the Leather Working Group (LWG), a global organization dedicated to more sustainable leather production. LWG assesses and certifies tanneries on their environmental performance, such as water and energy consumption, chemicals management and waste reduction.

Chooses nearby production sites

We consciously choose production sites that are as close as possible to the source of our materials in order to reduce unnecessary transportation and reduce our carbon footprint.
