ORGANIC COTTON Less is more: Our organic cotton is grown using 62% less energy and up to 91% less water than usual - and 0% toxic chemicals. The cotton is grown under ethical conditions, using only natural fertilizers.

Uses RDS-certified down

RDS-CERTIFIED DOWN AND FEATHERS To protect animals: The feathers and down that we use for our products come from animals that are kept in ethically sound conditions. The globally valid "Responsible Down Standard" for down places particular emphasis on animal welfare.

Uses FSC-certified viscose

FSC-CERTIFIED VISCOSE Garments made from FSC-certified viscose were once a tree – yes, really! It grew in a sustainably managed forest, free from genetically modified plants.

Uses recycled materials

RECYCLED MATERIALS Already loved: These pieces were once something different and have been reinvented by us. Recycling wool, cotton, polyester and nylon fibers and giving them a new life is more sustainable than producing new textiles.

Produces in Europe

85% of our collections are created in Italy, Portugal, and Greece. We have worked closely with most of these manufacturers for decades and regularly visit them on-site. Many of them are family-run.

Does not discard unsold pieces

Out of appreciation for the resources that go into our products, we have never discarded unsold pieces and never will. So what happens to unsold looks? They get another chance: at seasonal sales and in our five outlets in Germany. We also donate items to regional institutions.

Taking good care of your favorite pieces has several advantages: You can wear your best looks longer, because careful care protects the fabric, colors, and appliqués. You extend their lifespan. This also reduces their ecological footprint and conserves resources.

Sells GUPPYFRIEND wash bag

Additional protection for clothing is provided by the innovative GUPPYFRIEND wash bag, both for textiles and the environment. Scientific tests have shown: Due to the gentle washing in the bag, garments made of synthetic fabrics and material blends with synthetic components lose fewer fibers, so that the quality is maintained for a long time.
