ISO 14001 system in place

SustainabilityTracker says Marais has put an ISO 14001 environmental management system in place. ISO 14001 is an international standard for managing environmental impact. The profile links this to waste management, recycling, energy savings, and support for a circular economy, which means keeping materials in use for longer instead of throwing them away. The available information does not show how widely this system has been rolled out or what results it has produced.
