Ritto packaging relaunch

Mãe Terra said the project in partnership with Braskem and Antilhas is another way for the company to demonstrate its commitment to sustainability and society. "For 40 years, we have had a commitment to social and environmental well-being, prioritizing small-scale producers and native and organic ingredients from our Brazil. But our mission does not stop there, we also look for packaging that strengthens the positive cycle in the economy."

First food-sector use of SUP

Mãe Terra became the first brand to use the mono-material stand-up pouch in the food sector for the new line of Ritto special rice. The new product is 100% made from polyethylene and no lamination, with sustainable characteristics and circular cycle.

Circular packaging return

At the end of the process, all packaging will be returned to Braskem, which will be in charge of recycling and returning the waste into the production chain. The Molécoola environmental loyalty program was invited to support the circularity process, and Mãe Terra will boost the loyalty program points to engage consumers.
