Became B Corp certified

Newcastle-based Lixir has become the UK’s first B Corp-certified premium tonic and mixer brand. Lixir Drinks received the certification from non-profit organisation B Lab, which accredits companies with B Corp status after they meet or exceed the B Impact Assessment criteria. The criteria measures a firm’s social impact across categories. These requirements include corporate governance, the environment, community, employees and customers.

Certified carbon neutral

Lixir was recognised by B Lab for being certified carbon neutral in 2021, and for its partnership with Just a Drop, a charity helping bring clean and safe water and sanitation solutions to communities worldwide.

Partnered with a meadery

He partnered up with a meadery in San Diego and began working with them to innovate the way that mead was made with the goal of creating a zero sugar, low calorie, delicious beverage that everyone would enjoy.
