Reported at group level

Since 2024, we report on sustainability at the group level and this information is included in Lindex Group's annual report. In the report we highlight not only the progress made across the group but also Lindex's ongoing efforts towards sustainability, in line with the EU directive CSRD. We describe the past year and share information about our progress as well as our challenges.

Issued human rights reports

This report reflects our ongoing Human Rights Due Diligence (HRDD) efforts, covering both our own operation and our supply chain. It highlights our responsibility to respect human rights at every level of our operations and outlines how we identify, prevent, mitigate, and address potential and actual impacts.

Published transparency act reports

At Lindex, we welcome the Norwegian Transparency Act as a strong regulatory framework that can level the playing field and contribute to increased transparency and the promotion of human rights globally. Our ambition with this report is to share easily accessible insights into our ongoing work within the field on an annual basis, highlighting both challenges and opportunities.

Reduced total emissions

Lindex has reduced its total emission by 21 per cent during 2023 and by 41 per cent compared to 2017, despite a strong sales growth. This reduction was due, among other things, to a continuous conversion to recycled materials, transition to renewable energy as well as an improved full price sales which led to reduced clearance and volumes.

Submitted climate targets

Lindex has submitted revised climate targets to Science Based Targets initiative for validation.

Expanded circularity work

Lindex has accelerated its commitment to circularity through a long-term agreement with Finnish Infinited Fiber Company and its patented fibre Infinnaâ„¢, made from 100 per cent post-consumer textile waste.

Increased recycled content

42 per cent of Lindex’s assortment has at least 15 per cent recycled content.

Supported WaterAid projects

Lindex donated 2 per cent of each Female Engineering period panty sold to the fashion company’s Water Aid projects in 2023. Lindex started yet another project with Water Aid in a new area in Dhaka called Savar which will impact another 8.700 people through WASH.
