Lindex describes transparency as key to progress within sustainability and says it reports on sustainability at group level in Lindex Group's annual report, in line with the EU directive CSRD. Its sustainability promise is organised around three focus areas: Ensure Human Rights, Respect the Planet, and Empower Women. The company says it works on climate action, circular fashion, wages and working conditions, human rights due diligence, and supply chain transparency. It also publishes sustainability reports, human rights reports, and reports under the Norwegian Transparency Act.

Since 2024, we report on sustainability at the group level and this information is included in Lindex Group's annual report. In the report we highlight not only the progress made across the group but also Lindex's ongoing efforts towards sustainability, in line with the EU directive CSRD. We describe the past year and share information about our progress as well as our challenges.

Published transparency act reports

At Lindex, we welcome the Norwegian Transparency Act as a strong regulatory framework that can level the playing field and contribute to increased transparency and the promotion of human rights globally. Our ambition with this report is to share easily accessible insights into our ongoing work within the field on an annual basis, highlighting both challenges and opportunities.

Reduced total emissions

Lindex has reduced its total emission by 21 per cent during 2023 and by 41 per cent compared to 2017, despite a strong sales growth. This reduction was due, among other things, to a continuous conversion to recycled materials, transition to renewable energy as well as an improved full price sales which led to reduced clearance and volumes.
