We are working with our landlord to ensure that the contract for ‘top up’ electricity from the grid remains renewable when the contract updates.

Reduce energy consumption
We continuously take steps to reduce consumption – turn off switches, timer plugs for washing machines and dishwashers, and heated throws for our office staff in winter – heating the person not the building!

Move away from disposable or limited use cloths to reusable – tests currently occurring.

Remove single use piping bags from the bakery entirely.

Conduct a recycling contamination survey. Report the contamination survey results to all the team and encourage positive engagement.

Continue to work with our landlord to decrease energy consumption, such as upgrading lights when they need replacing.
