As #BCorpMonth comes to a close, we're reflecting on the new certification standards and focusing on specific, tangible actions to improve our social and environmental benefits. Here is what the new standards mean to us at Development Dynamics: Purpose & Stakeholder Governance; Fair work; Justice, Equity, Diversity & Inclusion (JEDI); Human Rights; Climate Action; Environmental Stewardship & Circularity (ESC); Government Affairs & Collective Action (GACA).

Climate Action: The ultimate goal in this standard is to reduce global warming and its effects through practical actions such as measuring our emissions over time and reducing energy and water use.

Fair work: This standard encourages workspaces where our associates feel valued and empowered to thrive in all capacities. It prioritises holistic welfare for DD’s associates, such as fair compensation, clarity of role expectations and standardized feedback mechanisms.

Human Rights: This standard is in sync with the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights (UNGPs) and aims to prioritize respect for human rights at the center of our operations.
