Update Woolmark+ initiatives
AWI says a March 2025 update was published on the status of the 13 initiatives in the Woolmark+ roadmap. The roadmap is described as a package of planned and ongoing actions to help woolgrowers and supply chain partners reach sustainability targets. The update suggests AWI is continuing to develop and track the program through 2025.
2028
Deliver the 2025–2028 strategic plan
AWI’s Strategic Plan 2025–2028 sets out investment priorities for research, development, and marketing over the three years from 1 July 2025. The plan is meant to support the wool industry’s resilience, sustainable growth, and response to changing global conditions. This is a future-facing commitment to keep sustainability inside AWI’s core planning through 2028.

Hold the 2026 AGM virtually
AWI says its 2026 Annual General Meeting will be held virtually on 13 November 2026. This is not a sustainability target on its own, but it is a future governance action that the company has already scheduled. It shows the organisation has set a specific date for a formal company process.
