ESG and sustainability reports

Wright Communications has developed ESG/sustainability/corporate responsibility (CR) reports for 12 years using both global gold standard frameworks: the Global Reporting Initiative (G4 Sustainability Reporting Guidelines) and Integrated Reporting . Voluntary reports have been prepared for a range of clients spanning private limited liability companies, listed entities, a Crown Research Institute, and multi-national organisations with a New Zealand operation.

We also produced NZX’s latest Annual Report which for the first time contained sustainability information, referencing G4.

Climate reporting guidance

Wright Communications can guide you through the multiple options for reporting and has the experience to create structured roadmaps that provide a clear route to introduce sustainability reporting and thinking into an organisation.

AA Insurance CSR report

After assisting AA Insurance with its first Corporate Social Responsibility Report in 2020, AA Insurance again asked Wright Communications to help the highly regarded insurance company prepare its second report in 2022. The 2022 CSR Report covered 18 months and touched on its activities and achievements; its commitment to the environment in terms of upcoming reporting disclosures, and progress towards decarbonisation.

Climate-related disclosures

A substantial section on climate change reported on efforts to reduce emission from operational activities and on the impact of extreme weather events. Work towards greater climate-related finance risk, required in 2023 under new climate disclosures legislation, was also indicated.
