The Partnership for Carbon Transparency (PACT) is a framework launched in 2020, aligned with ISO and GHG Protocol principles, and built on two decades of life cycle assessment experience. Developed jointly by 35 stakeholders from industry and the broader decarbonization ecosystem, PACT is powered by the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD) and leverages its role as co-convenor of the Greenhouse Gas Protocol. The initiative sets foundations for standardized emissions data exchange across global supply chains.
