In April 2023, VISTA Eye Specialist was certified ESG-Friendly with B Corp Certification, meeting high standards of social and environmental performance. In June 2023, VISTA Eye Specialist won the ESG Positive Impact Awards in Talent Management (Social Awards Category). The award recognised the company for developing and implementing effective and comprehensive training programs and for its Gamification Upskilling Program.

Expanded staff upskilling

VISTA introduced a unique Upskilling program incorporating Gamification principles and focusing on Growth, 10x Fun, Learning and Engagement, and WOW experience. The program enabled staff to develop new ideas, acquire new skills, unleash their creativity and cultivate leadership qualities.

Provided free eye screenings

Initiatives like the VISTA Eye Carnival since 2010 raise eye care awareness and offer free screenings. VISTA supports those in need, local businesses during challenges, and provides free cataract surgeries.

Raised awareness on blindness

In 2020, VISTA turned to Facebook Live and Zoom Video Webinar to reach patients at home and raise awareness about eye health. The company said it had started exploring more digitalization, including the option of Telemedicine for Ophthalmology.
