Trust & Will championed eWills as a digital-first solution that significantly reduces paper usage, shipping emissions, and reliance on traditional office supplies.

Reduced operational footprint

Trust & Will conducted internal audits to further reduce its operational footprint through optimized workflows and increased use of cloud-based systems.

Supported community education

Throughout 2024, Trust & Will led and supported educational initiatives, community workshops, and legislative outreach in key states, helping remove cost, geographic, and logistical barriers to estate planning.

Trust & Will helped advance and pass digital estate planning legislation in multiple states, collaborated with national partners and industry stakeholders, and provided thought leadership through testimony, policy engagement, and public education.

Became a B Corporation

In May 2023, Trust & Will officially became a B Corporation-certified company, a designation that aligns with its mission to balance profit and purpose.

Offset carbon emissions

In 2023, Trust & Will reported 549.3 tonnes of CO2e offset and partnered with Bend to track and analyze real-time carbon emissions data, helping identify reduction opportunities and improve sustainability efforts.

Expanded charitable giving

In 2023, employees donated to causes they cared about, with Trust & Will matching contributions for a total of $4,708 across nine organizations. The company also donated $25,522 to organizations such as March of Dimes, Financial Joy School, and Center for Heirs’ Property, and provided $26,368 in free estate plans to communities in need.

Launched Spanish resources

Trust & Will launched Spanish-language estate planning resources to better serve Spanish-speaking families.

Converted to PBC

In 2025, Trust & Will formally converted to a Public Benefit Corporation. The company said the change codifies its mission and ensures decision-making will continue to prioritize families, communities, and long-term outcomes.
