Net Zero in Scopes 1 and 2

Triple Bottom Line Accounting is Net Zero in Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions. TBLA has been calculating its greenhouse gas emissions annually since our 2020 baseline year. As a net-zero business for Scopes 1 and 2, we have set yearly targets to reduce our Scope 3 emissions.

Passivhaus workplace

Our workplace at The Enterprise Centre, University of East Anglia, is designed on Passivhaus principles, reducing energy requirements while maximising thermal comfort and air quality. Heating and power are supplied by a renewable electricity provider.

Electric vehicle lease

The business neither owns nor leases any internal combustion engine vehicles (ICEVs). We lease one Electric Vehicle, a Nissan Leaf Tekna, manufactured in Sunderland with advanced lithium-ion batteries produced in Nissan’s UK Battery Plant.

TBLA has partnered with Trace to offer our clients a remarkably user-friendly platform. This tool allows you to measure your greenhouse gas emissions. It facilitates engagement with your employees, enabling you to make a more significant positive impact.

B1G1 impact giving

For every invoice we raise, we give back through B1G1, integrating a meaningful Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) component into our operations. In 2024, we extended this initiative by incentivising clients to submit self-assessment information promptly.
