Supported youth employment pilot

Its findings spurred a pioneering employment program for young women from rural areas, developed with Fundación Alsea, Vips, and Villa de las Niñas charity. By prioritising flexibility, community, and structured support, the program overcame legal/logistical barriers to integrate vulnerable youth into formal work. 44 young women from marginalised rural communities have been onboarded in the first five months with high satisfaction rates.

The pilot's innovative design—addressing legal documentation, financial needs, and career development—set a new standard for inclusive hiring. Its success is driving expansion across other Alsea brands and partnerships with NGOs to serve new marginalised groups such as single mothers and refugees.

Published sustainable tourism analysis

Purpose-driven travel is reshaping China’s tourism landscape. Our new white paper, Investing in Inner Journeys, draws on 6 months of ethnographic fieldwork at Mount Wutai—one of China’s most sacred Buddhist sites—to uncover how Gen Z travellers are seeking meaning, heritage, and personal growth over leisure. We explore the tension between rising demand for “high-quality” infrastructure and the risk of cultural homogenization—and propose a new model that balances authenticity, inclusivity, and investment opportunity.
