TLANT is a hotel and real estate-related brand whose sustainability content is centred on hotel operations, energy use, waste reduction, water saving, and responsible purchasing. The available material highlights measures across hotel properties such as LED lighting, heat pumps, solar panels, water-saving devices, waste separation, paperless check-in, and the use of eco-labelled cleaning products. It also refers to collaboration with suppliers and initiatives linked to food waste, electric mobility, and accessible facilities. The content suggests a practical operational approach to sustainability within hospitality rather than a single company-wide public strategy.

TLANT Sustainability Actions

Hotel energy and water measures

The hotel is equipped with a heat pump and a new central heating system. The hotel features waterless urinals. No single-use packaging. Waste separation: e.g. paper, glass, plastic, cartridges, lamps and batteries. Bed linen is changed after the 3rd night to save transport, water and chemicals. The cleaning products are of the highest sustainable and organic standards.

Paperless guest services

In 2021 we started a new reservation system MEWS that does a paperless check in for our guests. The paper is reused as much as possible for, for example, scrap paper. In addition, there is as little printing as possible.

Food waste prevention

Art Hotel is participating in a Food waste management program in which we want to prevent food waste. WestCord also works with the “to good to go” program to prevent waste.

LED lighting and solar panels

All hotel lighting is energy efficient. The hotel only uses LED lighting. The hotel has solar panels on the roof of the hotel, which give the hotel 15% energy back.

Water-saving and reuse systems

The linen in the rooms is changed every 3rd day of your stay, to reduce water consumption, transport and use of cleaning chemicals. We encourage guests not to have their rooms cleaned every day, to reduce water consumption, transport and use of cleaning chemicals. Focus on saving water by saving water in all taps, showers and toilets. The hotel features waterless urinals.
