We have newly switched the boiler fuel at one of our facilities from heavy oil to gas to reduce pollutants.

We have worked to expand horizontal recycling in collaboration with our customers. Recycled and biomass-based materials usage rate: 18%.

In fiscal year 2024, there were no violations or fines related to environmental regulations, including wastewater regulations.

Obtained ISO 14001 certification

SEKISUI KASEI Group has obtained ISO 14001 certification, the international standard for environmental management systems, primarily at its production sites. As of November 2025, there are 10 certified production sites, representing 23% of all production sites.

Used life cycle assessment

By conducting Life Cycle Assessments, we promote evaluation and improvement of environmentally conscious product development from the research and development and design stages.

Participated in recycling initiatives

We participate in initiatives to promote plastic resource circulation through organizations such as the Japan Clean Ocean Material Alliance (CLOMA), working teams of the Japan Plastics Industry Federation, and the Plastic Recycling Association.
