The Bio-D Company Sustainability Actions

Published impact reporting

We publish an annual Sustainability & Impact Report, providing transparency on our progress and helping us identify where we can do even better.

Launched Closed Loop system

One initiative we're particularly proud of is our 20L Closed Loop system. Designed for businesses looking to reduce waste without compromising on performance, the scheme allows customers to return empty Bio-D 20L containers free of charge. The containers are then cleaned, refilled and put back into circulation, helping to reduce plastic waste, conserve resources and support a more circular economy.

Reduced washing powder packaging

By reducing the packaging for our 1kg & 2kg Washing Powder, we’ve saved over 760 m² of packing film—equivalent to three tennis courts!

Made products in the UK

Our products are made in the UK, certified cruelty-free and vegan, and packaged in 100% recycled bottles.

Supported animal welfare campaign

Support Team Bio-D as our Soap, Sweat & Cheers team takes on Cruelty Free International's Move for the Millions challenge. Together, we're raising awareness of the estimated 192 million animals used for scientific purposes worldwide every year and helping fund the global fight to end animal testing.
