More than 60 million trips

Tembici says it is responsible for more than 60 million bicycle trips in the main Brazilian capitals, such as Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Salvador, Recife, Porto Alegre and Brasilia, as well as Santiago, Chile, and Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Pioneering e-bike projects

The company says it is pioneering cycling projects centered on electric bicycles and is focused on further aligning its governance with the ESG agenda. It also says the bicycle helps reduce environmental impacts by reducing carbon emissions.

Bogotá system rollout

Tembici’s Bicycle Sharing System was planned to arrive in Bogotá, Colombia, in the second half of 2022 as part of the city’s decarbonization plans on transportation. The project included 3,300 bicycles distributed among 300 stations, 150 bicycle seats, 150 chairs for transporting children, 150 bicycles with boxes and 1,500 pedal-assist bicycles.

iFood delivery partnership

Tembici established a partnership with iFood, a Brazilian food delivery app, which provides an efficient and sustainable mode of transportation for delivery services. The program includes an education pillar focused on safety and road awareness, and a delivery support pillar with service stations around the city.
