Symmetrix Exercise & Rehab Sustainability Actions

Launched outreach program

Kinesiology Outreach Program. Kinesiology is a critical piece of preventative and rehabilitative health care. Yet most British Columbians still don't have free access to our services. Today we announce our Kinesiology Outreach Program aimed at providing services to those who would not normally have access. We have introduced a sliding scale rate program for those clients.

Became a B Corp

Symmetrix becomes a B-Corp. B Corps are leaders of a global movement of people using business as a force for good™. Certified B Corporations amend their governance so that, by law, they can make decisions and implement practices that consider not just shareholder value, but the impact on all stakeholders — employees, customers, society, and the environment.

Donated to Right To Play

Donation to Right to Play. WE PLAY FOR CHANGE: Right To Play is harnessing one of the most powerful and fundamental forces in every child’s life, the power of play. Our programs protect, educate, and empower children to heal from the harsh realities of war and abuse, to change their behavior and protect themselves from disease, to go to school and create a better future.

Supported Blind Beginnings

Donation to Blind Beginnings. Since 2008 Blind Beginnings has inspired and supported children and youth in BC who are blind or partially sighted. Through workshops, pre-employment training, summer camps, recreational activities, and individualized counselling, Blind Beginnings continues it's work to inspire confidence and independence in these young people.

Supported HUB Cycling

Donation to HUB Cycling. Each year, HUB Cycling delivers cycling education to thousands of people in Metro Vancouver through our Bike to School, StreetWise and Workplace Cycling Workshop programs. Our engaging courses include cycling theory and practical riding experiences to help people build the skills and confidence needed to bike for transportation.
