Stradivarius is owned by Inditex, whose sustainability strategy focuses on reducing impact across raw materials, water, energy, emissions and supply chains. The company says it is working to convert fashion into garments that stay in customers’ wardrobes over time, with production aligned to real demand and surplus stock kept under 1% of garments put on sale. Its roadmap includes lower-impact fibres, water reduction, biodiversity projects and decarbonisation targets. It also reports supply-chain environmental requirements, worker-focused programmes and collaboration with external organisations, suppliers and industrial partners on materials, technology and labour practices.

Stradivarius Sustainability Actions

Lower-impact fibres and recycling

88% of the fibres we currently use in our clothing have a lower impact on the environment (whether by generating fewer emissions or using less water or chemicals, among other criteria) and 47% are recycled.

Reduced water consumption

Between 2020 and 2025, we reduced our unit water consumption in the productive processes in our supply chain by over 25%.

Biodiversity projects funded

Since 2023, we have funded restoration, protection, regeneration or other biodiversity enhancement projects spanning over 1.5 million hectares in countries such as Mexico, Brazil, India and Portugal.

Emissions reduced since 2018

Since 2018, the emissions covered by our science-based decarbonisation targets, which include those generated in our own operations, in the extraction and processing of raw materials and in the manufacture, distribution and end-of-life management of our garments, have contracted by 11%, even as our sales have grown by more than 50%.

Direct emissions cut

The direct emissions generated by us - those associated with our own operations - have been slashed by 88% during that same time interval.
