SOJO Sustainability Actions

Launched repair services with M&S

Marks & Spencer has partnered with clothing repair and alterations experts, SOJO. From August, M&S customers can book a repair service through a new online hub – ‘M&S Fixed by SOJO.’ Through a dedicated online hub, M&S customers can select and book a range of bespoke repair services - from zip replacements to invisible knitwear mending – all through one simple online form. With repairs starting from just £5, M&S clothing can be sent, repaired by SOJO’s in-house repair team and returned directly to the customer within seven to 10 days.

Expanded repair studios in Paris

Sojo opened its first international store in Paris at Westfield Les 4 Temps, with repair studios and a digital tailor network. The model is described as helping customers patch, alter, and refresh clothing affordably, and as scaling through local tailors and retail partnerships.

Works with retail brands

Sojo offers garment repair and alteration services carried out at its East London studio, and brands and retailers such as Arket, Reiss, Margaret Howell, Paul Smith and Selfridges have integrated Sojo into their value chain. At Arket, consumers can book door-to-door service on its website, while stores offer in-store drop-off and pick-up services.

Advises on circular fashion

Since launching in 2021, Sojo has been offering customers repair services as well as advising e-commerce fashion brands on how to be more circular. The company has also moved from a marketplace to an in-house operations model.
