What do our labels mean?

SEAY Srl was founded in 2019 to produce and market sustainable and low environmental impact clothing. Since 2020 it has been a Benefit Company, and in 2021 it obtained B Corp Certification, renewed in November 2024 with an Impact score of 117.20 points. The company says it uses certified recycled and/or organic materials, compostable and organic packaging certified by TUV Austria, and a Re3 Model designed to extend the life cycle of used clothing, including garments from other brands. Founded as sustainable clothing brand

SEAY was founded in 2019 to produce and market sustainable and low environmental impact clothing, since 2020 we have been a Benefit Company and in 2021 we obtained the B Corp Certification, renewed in November 2024 reaching an Impact score of 117.20 points (+10.2 points compared to 2021).

Uses certified materials

For our products we only use certified recycled and/or organic materials, a compostable and organic packaging certified by TUV Austria as well as the adoption of the Re3 Model, our engineered circular model to extend the life cycle of used clothing, even from other brands.

Adopted digital product passports

In SEAY sustainability and transparency are part of the same paradigm. We like to think that our customers choose us starting from the digital passport available for each SEAY product thanks to which it is possible to discover the expected life cycle, the level of recyclability, the environmental certifications and the made in of each component of the garment itself.

Measures logistics emissions

Thanks to our selected logistics partner, some of our CO2 emissions are measured using carbon emission measurement standards. The calculation methods used for the emissions report are subject to a third-party verification procedure. Emissions from transport and logistics activities are finally offset by contributing to climate protection projects as outlined in the DHL Knowledge Hub.

Uses compostable shipping bags

For the shipment of our garments destined to stores and to our end-customers we have adopted the solution with the second lowest environmental impact currently available. We chose then to use shipping bags that are biodegradable and compostable and therefore they becomes organic compost following a natural degradation process. They are certified by TUV AUSTRIA according to European regulation EN-13432 for composting.
