Revaia Sustainability Actions

Embedded ESG in operations

At Revaia, sustainability is embedded across the entire investment process and firm-wide operations. Anaïs Blarel leads our ESG efforts, bringing her experience from impact-driven startups to support our portfolio companies and ensure our strategy delivers sustainable value creation.

Linked pay to ESG

Revaia’s remuneration policy aims to align the interests of all employees with those of its stakeholders and to empower all employees to collectively create sustainable value. In accordance with the Disclosure Regulation, the Company has defined the expectations of all team members and included E, S and G characteristics in their responsibilities and, consequently, in the definition of their compensation.

Annual ESG assessment

We have designed a cyclical approach enabling annual assessment of ESG performance and the formulation of improvement roadmaps tailored to each company's defined purpose.

Published tech charter

As responsible investors in tech, we defined our approach in our Responsible Investing in Technology Charter back in 2020. This Charter serves as a framework for sustainable investing in tech and covers the three dimensions that should guide any analysis, each with their own set of metrics and guidelines.

Released ESG benchmark

Revaia releases the second edition of its European ESG Data Benchmark, offering a data-driven view of how ESG practices have evolved across European tech and growth companies based on 2024 data. This new benchmark compares results with the previous edition (2023) to capture both progress and resilience in a context of ESG backlash.

Published climate guide

Revaia developed a comprehensive Climate Guide to help VC and Growth investors learn about the frameworks and tools that can help their portfolio companies meet ambitious climate targets while still recognizing the financial realities of VC and growth investing.

Donated to charities

Revaia strives to exemplify the power of giving back and donates a part of its revenue to charities pursuing social and environmental impacts.

Assessed sustainability risks

Our approach regarding sustainability risks is integrated at each step of our investment process as presented above in this charter. Hence, sustainability risks are a key component in our decision-making process in line with Article 3 of the Disclosure Regulation (Regulation EU 2019/2088).

Considered principal adverse impacts

Revaia considers the principal adverse impacts of its investment decisions on sustainability factors. The analysis is performed at an entity level as well as at the level of investment vehicles level and is formalized in the manner disclosed by Article 4 of the Disclosure Regulation.
