Ramp Tramp Tramp Stamp is a Sydney fashion label founded by Niamh Galea, built around size-inclusive, gender-inclusive and fit-flexible design. The brand says each sample is created to fit regardless of size or gender, and its approach uses mechanisms such as knit, elastic, corsetry and belts to adapt garments to different bodies. Sustainability is described as part of the practice rather than a separate claim, with the label stating it mostly works with second-hand regenerated textiles, deadstock and vintage fabrics sourced from Reverse Garbage and other warehouses. The brand also says it does not claim fashion can be fully sustainable, but it does try to reduce waste through repurposed materials.

Ramp Tramp Tramp Stamp Sustainability Actions

Uses second-hand textiles

I try mostly to work with second-hand regenerated textiles. I source most of the fabrics from Reverse Garbage, they get really massive bulk quantities of this really interesting, beautiful deadstock or vintage textiles.

Repurposes fabric scraps

Think geometric G-strings cut from repurposed fabric scraps, through to matching tracksuits printed with brash, juxtaposing artwork.

Uses remnants and offcuts

The former is made from remnants and offcuts from other pieces to reduce waste and ensure each piece is individual.

Works with deadstock fabric

RTTS pieces are unique thanks to the often vintage and deadstock fabric she sources. For example, Galea got her hands on hundreds of 2000s baby tees, cut a hole in the chest and got them printed on.

2025

Open a retail space

I have just moved into a new studio space! I am planning with my cousin, Ed Cook, who is an amazing architect, to have a mini retail space in the studio, so people can try on my pieces. I also want to stock some of my friends who are small designers as well.

2022

Launch second collection

Next February, RAMP TRAMP TRAMP STAMP will be launching its second full commercial collective.
