Pyrrha Sustainability Actions

Annual carbon assessments

Since 2016 Pyrrha has been carrying out annual carbon footprint assessments and in 2025 achieved an 81% reduction in Scope 1 and Scope 2 GHG emissions against its initial year. This substantial reduction was reached through the building of their Vancouver studio, which includes a six-story production tower and a new showroom in a fully restored heritage house.

Zero Carbon certified studio

Their energy efficiency is achieved by choosing low-carbon building materials, use of renewable energy, and smart technology. The buildings have been awarded the Zero Carbon Certification, through the Canadian Green Building Council (CaGBC), in recognition of their sustainability achievements.

Recycled precious metals

Pyrrha uses 100% recycled gold and silver for all of its jewellery and offers a lifetime warranty to ensure longevity and avoid post-consumer waste generation. The brand uses 100% recycled materials in its consumer packaging, aiming to increase the use of FSC-certified forest-based materials going forward.

Supply chain controls

The brand has established a system of controls and transparency over their supply chain for precious metals, diamonds and coloured gemstones that align with the Code of Practice guidelines from the Responsible Jewellery Council and the OECD Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Supply Chains of Minerals from Conflict-Affected and High-Risk Areas.

Living Wage Employer

We are proud to be a certified Living Wage Employer and we are dedicated to the health and wellbeing of our staff. Vancouver is an expensive place to live, and we believe that the government minimum does not come close to providing the required income to support a good quality of life for workers and their families.

Community donations

Pyrrha is a member of 1% for the Planet and donates a minimum of 1% of gross sales to eco-initiatives driving on-the-ground change across climate, food, land, pollution, water, and wildlife. The company donates $100 from each piece sold from its Let Nature Be Your Teacher collection to Environmental Youth Alliance, $100 from each Pyrrha x Sarah McLachlan Lilith talisman to the Sarah McLachlan School of Music, and $100 from each Music Unites Us talisman to Pathway to Paris.
