Published first B Corp report

Purpose Union has just published its first B Corp Impact Report. Over the past few weeks, it shared teasers from the report across colleagues, control, community, climate and clients. It says the report shows how it is holding itself accountable, what progress it has made and where it still needs to do more.

Set up climate services

At Purpose Union, strategists work with organisations and individuals across the public, private and social sectors to plan, communicate, and deliver ambitious, authentic and credible climate initiatives that support a just transition to net zero. Its climate services include climate change and environmental campaigns and communications, policy research, landscape mapping and horizon scanning, advocacy strategy and delivery, sustainability reporting, partnership or initiative design, and philanthropy and corporate citizenship.

Created Climate Counsel network

As part of its climate service, Purpose Union offers access to its Climate Counsel. This is described as a global network of partners who have technical knowledge, subject expertise, and lived experience on climate change.

Worked on ESG employee groups

In a previous role, Hannah Anderton was responsible for co-founding and leading company-wide ESG employee resource groups. This included the DEI committee, Carbon Neutral project and their Period Poverty Campaign which now supports young people from low-income backgrounds around the UK.

Launched impact report themes

Purpose Union said its first B Corp Impact Report covered colleagues, control, community, climate and clients, and that it was more than a report. It said the report was about building a business that reflects its values - transparent, inclusive, and committed to social purpose.
