Pisces Research Project Management Inc. Sustainability Actions

Managed ocean research projects

Pisces was founded by Kes Morton in 2017 after managing more than $170 million CAD over 15 years of ocean research projects. There were too many projects operating inefficiently, often because the project did not necessitate a full time project manager.

Supports Indigenous collaboration

At Pisces Research Project Management, we are committed to meaningful collaborations with Indigenous Peoples. For Pisces RPM, this means continuously educating ourselves and our clients to ensure we work with Indigenous governments, organizations, and communities in respectful, transparent, and inclusive ways.

Built Ocean Project Wayfinder

Pisces Oceans built the Ocean Project Wayfinder Assessment. The Wayfinder is a focused diagnostic that identifies the specific gap holding your project back, whether that’s strategic clarity, operational infrastructure, or communications reach, and delivers a personalized plan for what to do next.

Archived PISCES programme outputs

The PISCES Programme Archive (2019–2024) preserves reports, resources, team structure, Work Packages and project outputs so they remain publicly accessible and continue to inform research and practice.

Produced plastics research resources

PISCES aims to be a knowledge hub for plastics in global societies. It produces high quality academic papers in leading journals, as well as thought-starters and policy communications, with the aim of engaging meaningfully with a global audience for Plastics in a Sustainable Society.
