Preserving Andean textile tradition

This beautiful technique is at risk of disappearing, and that became the driving force behind Piera’s decision to start this project. Moved by a deep admiration for this ancestral art form, she set out to share its beauty with the world while helping to preserve it for future generations.

Using natural materials

Guided by this intention, she has taken thoughtful steps to minimize the environmental impact of each piece. Wherever possible, she chooses organic and responsibly sourced materials, such as locally sourced wool, organic cotton, and plant-based leather alternatives.

Working with Aymara and Quechua women

High in the Andes, where time seems to stand still, Aymara and Quechua women carry forward a sacred tradition passed down through generations. With patient, skilled hands, they transform raw wool into art, shearing, washing, spinning, and dyeing it with pigments made from native flowers, roots, and minerals.
