Pacific Harvest Sustainability Actions

Specialised in edible seaweeds

Since 2002, we have specialised in edible seaweeds. For nearly 25 years, we have specialised in edible seaweeds. We're leading a movement to a future where delicious seaweeds can be eaten every day.

Sustainably sourced range

Our range is sustainably sourced, air-dried (minimal processing) so more nutritionally potent.

Local sourcing where possible

It matters where seaweed comes from. The ocean is central to life here in Aotearoa New Zealand, and we will source locally where we can. However, whilst Pacific is in our name, we also offer a carefully curated range of seaweeds which have been sustainably harvested from clean, cool, nutrient-rich waters from around the world.

Ethical harvesters and testing

We will always work with ethical harvesters who farm and or harvest seaweed respectfully and regeneratively. Our products undergo rigorous testing to meet all relevant safety regulations. We benchmark our test results against acceptable levels in many countries and only offer food safe seaweeds.
