Launched sustainable cocoon jackets

OTK is launching its first collection of sustainable cocoon jackets today, Monday the 10th of October. Created in collaboration with Belgian artist Sophie Whetnall, it includes limited-edition prints that are elegantly hidden in the jackets’ lining. A serial number has been hand-stamped on each piece to further merge the boundaries between art and fashion.

Used selected materials

NATURAL, ORGANIC & RECYCLED MATERIALS – products are carefully selected, made of virgin wool, organic cotton, animal welfare certified feathers, recycled polyester and organic cashmere.

Managed production waste

LOW WASTE – through production waste management and sustainable packaging.

Produced a small run

SMALL PRODUCTION – 150 jackets manufactured.

Encouraged circularity

CIRCULARITY – by offering customers the possibility to frame the print in the lining at the end of their jacket’s life to display as a piece of art. All remaining fabrics are recycled accordingly.

Donated proceeds to charity

PHILANTHROPY – 2% of OTK’s proceeds go to the Workplace Foundation, a charity that supports emerging and commercially under-represented artists.
