One Water (Global Ethics Limited) Sustainability Actions

Founding B Corporation

As one of the founding B Corporations in the UK, we’re proud to use business as a force for good. We uphold the highest ethical standards across all areas of our business, having been assessed across five core dimensions: governance, employee welfare, community impact, environmental stewardship, and customer satisfaction. Our current score is 132.6.

Signed UN Global Compact

We are a signatory to the UN Global Compact, a network of companies around the world, working to align their operations with universal principles on the environment, human rights, labour and anti-corruption. Keeping us accountable on our mission through annual reporting, the UNGC also supports our alignment with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), with SDG 6 being at the heart of our work.

Offset carbon since 2010

We certified as a carbon neutral company and off-set our impact annually from 2010. In 2018, after a detailed third party audit across our product range, we began off-setting the impact of our products as well, all the way from their creation to disposal. Since 2024, we have been working with the Science Based Targets Initiative to accelerate decarbonation of our operations and this remains our focus.

Support reforestation in Malawi

We also support a reforestation programme in Malawi. We have stopped buying carbon credits to focus our budgets more intensely on carbon reduction, but we have also invested in a reforestation programme in the Blantyre district of Malawi. It’s an area we are familiar with and we’ve funded a water pump repair programme there for many years.

Use recycled packaging

We maximise our use of recycled materials (100% recycled where possible) and all our products are 100% recyclable.
