Nxtfood Sustainability Actions

Sustainable mobility policy

Nxtfood has developed a proactive and structured sustainable mobility policy. The company structured its mobility policy through a formal company decision covering all possible levers for action. The aim was to embed sustainable mobility in a clear, consistent framework applicable to all employees, including in a 2x8 industrial context.

Remote work for eligible staff

The first lever is remote work, used to eliminate certain trips where possible. Today, 95% of eligible employees work remotely, with an average of 1.3 days per week. This significantly reduces commuting while maintaining operational performance.

Carpooling incentives

Carpooling is another key pillar. The company provides reserved parking spaces and offers financial incentives to both drivers and passengers. This dual incentive encourages participation and facilitates connections between employees. Around 8% of employees carpool regularly or occasionally.

Public transport coverage

At the same time, Nxtfood covers 100% of public transport costs for its employees, making alternative mobility solutions more accessible.

Support for soft mobility

Finally, the company actively promotes soft mobility. A €100 subsidy is offered for purchasing a bicycle or scooter, along with a bonus per trip made using these modes. Despite the constraints of industrial activity and shift work, around 5% of employees commute by bike, showing real adoption of the initiative.
