Reduced carbon intensity by 30%

Since 2019, we have reduced the carbon intensity of our operations by 30%, and progress continues as we work to reduce our emissions to net zero by 2040.

Introduced HSE Contractor Awards

We introduced the Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Contractor Awards, designed to promote continuous improvement and reward and incentivize contractors who demonstrate exceptional commitment to HSE. These awards recognize contractors who go above and beyond, demonstrating exceptional safety culture, robust HSE management plans, compliance with HSE standards, and other critical performance metrics.

Used bio-monitors for eagle safety

At our Bluestone onshore wind farm in New York, six rotating bio-monitors operate during key times— beginning 30 minutes before sunrise and ending 30 minutes after sunset—to observe Bald and Golden eagles in the area. When an eagle is detected within a designated range, the nearby turbines are temporarily curtailed to ensure the bird's safety until it has moved out of the vicinity.
