B Corp certification

NOMAD COFFEE SL obtained the B Corp certification, which recognizes its high standards of social and environmental performance, public transparency and legal responsibility.

Published transparency report

For the fourth year in a row, NOMAD COFFEE published its transparency report, which includes both its goals for the past year and data about how NOMAD COFFEE operated in 2023, from the growth of its team and the spending percentages of its budget to where each batch comes from and whether or not it is traceable.

Made coffee traceable

In 2023, NOMAD COFFEE said that all of its batches were 100% traceable. It also said that in total, of the 52 lots acquired in 2023, 51 of them had been made transparent.

Made farmgate prices transparent

NOMAD COFFEE said it had managed to make farmgate prices transparent, that is, the economic gain that producers receive for selling their coffee.

Reported coffee origins

The 2023 coffee came from 14 different countries, in a total of 52 lots, totaling 75,041.50 kg of coffee. The company listed origins including Colombia, El Salvador, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Rwanda, Ethiopia, Burundi, Kenya, Nicaragua, Myanmar, China, Tanzania, Ecuador and Peru.

Used coffee waste in collaboration

NOMAD COFFEE collaborated with Organic Matters and brought its coffee waste to the project. The initiative proposed to add value to surplus and waste, giving them a second life, and to create biomaterials from organic waste at Nomad.

Declared deforestation-free coffee

On 16 April 2024, NOMAD COFFEE said that its coffee Entre Ríos is the first to be declared free of deforestation.
