Muckle Brig is a Leith-based wine and spirits producer and distributor whose sustainability approach is centred on carbon reporting, local sourcing, renewable energy, and community engagement. The company says sustainability is a core principle of the brand and that it considers its impact on the planet, its people, and the communities it serves. It appointed a Head of Sustainability, published an inaugural Carbon Report in 2024, and has pursued B Corp certification. Its brands include Lind & Lime Gin and Port of Leith Whisky Distillery, with sustainability measures including organic ingredients, plastic-free packaging, locally sourced barley, and support for public transport use by visitors.
