McCormick Sustainability Commitments

2025

Improve farmer resiliency

McCormick says its 2025 goal is to improve resiliency for 90% of the farmers who grow its top five iconic raw ingredients: black pepper, cinnamon, oregano, red pepper, and vanilla. In plain terms, it wants more farmers in its supply chain to be better able to handle shocks such as weather, income pressure, and local resource problems.

2030

Cut emissions further

McCormick has a 2030 target to reduce Scope 1 and Scope 2 greenhouse gas emissions by 42%. Scope 1 is direct pollution from company-owned sources, and Scope 2 is pollution from purchased energy. The target shows the company plans to keep lowering emissions from its own operations over time.
