We're incredibly pleased to announce that Love Cocoa is now officially B Corp certified! It’s been over a year in the making while we were rigorously and carefully assessed to ensure that we are meeting the highest standards in social and environmental performance, accountability and transparency, but now it is official!

We protect nature by using no unnecessary plastic and avoiding palm oil across our range.

Processes cocoa at origin

Our cocoa is crafted at origin in Colombia, keeping more value within the communities who grow and produce it. This approach allows farmers and local makers to benefit directly from their skill and hard work, rather than losing income to intermediaries.

Works with fair producers

We partner with producers who pay above-market prices, invest in farmer training, and focus on improving every stage of the process, from planting and harvesting to fermentation and flavour development.

Plants trees with each bar

For every chocolate bar you buy from Love Cocoa, we plant a tree. By partnering with Eden Reforestation Projects, we’re aiming to replenish the rainforests and woodlands that cocoa production typically cuts into.

Pledged 1% for reforestation

We’re combatting the deforestation and environmental damage caused by unsustainable cocoa farming by planting trees, pledging 1% of our annual sales to reforestation projects, and by paving the way for change in the chocolate industry.

Joined 1% for the Planet

This is the start of an exciting chapter for the business. Our sophisticated new packaging has been in the works for over a year and we’re delighted to see it go live, alongside securing our B Corp and joining 1% for the Planet.

Planted 1.6 million trees

To date, the brand has planted 1.6 million trees across North and East Africa in a bid to combat deforestation and climate change.

Uses plastic free packaging

One of the first British chocolate producers to implement 100% plastic free packaging, utilising compostable inners made from wood pulp from the get-go, the business is now 99% plastic free.
