LEBIAR’s available sustainability-related content is limited and appears mainly through association with broader ESG and CSR discussions rather than a detailed corporate sustainability programme. The material references participation in forums and summits focused on collective impact, the UN Sustainable Development Goals, climate action, future-ready skills, regenerative food systems, inclusive economic pathways, human rights, environmental justice, and responsible business practices. It also points to alignment with the UN Global Compact and interest in measurable sustainability targets and accountability. No direct company-specific sustainability strategy, reporting, or product information is provided in the source content.

Attended MAJRA Impact Summit 2025

A truly insightful day at the MAJRA Impact Summit 2025. Congratulations to Sarah Shaw and the MAJRA team for convening leaders from government, business, youth and civil society under one platform dedicated to collective impact. It was valuable to hear the reflections shared by the UN Resident Coordinator in the UAE, Bérangère Boëll, whose perspective on the UAE’s opportunities for SDG acceleration — from climate action and future-ready skills to regenerative food systems and inclusive economic pathways — helped frame the broader conversation on sustainable progress.

Highlighted UN Global Compact alignment

A clear takeaway from the discussions was the strengthening alignment between national impact platforms as MAJRA and the work of the UN Global Compact — the world’s largest corporate sustainability initiative. This creates significant opportunities to mobilise the private sector, drive responsible business practices, and accelerate progress toward Agenda 2030.

Joined UN forum on business and rights

This week, I am joined by thousands of others here at the UN Responsible Business and Human Rights Forum in Bangkok. Led by the very able Harpreet Kaur, the B+HR team at UNDP in Asia and the Pacific is partnering with civil society, government and business to bolster efforts to mitigate adverse human rights and environmental impacts of industry in the region.

Supported sustainability performance

The sustainability field is facing serious headwinds, but there is strength in unity. And environmental justice remains at the top of the agenda. Join us and add your voice to those demanding greater sustainability performance.

Marked 25 years of UN Global Compact

This year, we celebrate 25 years of the United Nations Global Compact - the world’s largest corporate sustainability initiative, uniting thousands of businesses worldwide under the Ten Principles on human rights, labor, environment, and anti-corruption. For a quarter of a century, we’ve shown that when companies align profit with purpose, they can drive real change for people and planet.
