Uses some eco materials

Good On You says Larroude uses some eco-friendly materials, including organic cotton. That means at least part of its material mix includes fibres grown without some of the synthetic pesticides and fertilisers used in conventional cotton. However, the same assessment says there is no evidence that the brand has cut carbon emissions across most of its supply chain or reduced textile waste in manufacturing. So this looks like a limited materials step, not a full sustainability system.

Uses Responsible Down Standard

Good On You reports that Larroude uses down certified by the Responsible Down Standard (RDS), a label that checks animal welfare in down and feather supply chains. The brand is also said not to use fur, exotic animal skin, or angora. This suggests some attention to animal-related sourcing. Even so, the same source still rates the brand’s animal performance only as “it’s a start,” which means the overall approach is still limited.
