Hosted AI and ESG roundtable

Yesterday, we had the immense privilege of hosting an AI Roundtable with brilliant ESG leaders and AI specialists from, amongst others, VELUX, A.P. Moller - Maersk, Nilfisk, Ørsted, Danske Bank, Novonesis and Netcompany. Collectively, we explored one big question: How can AI move from promise to real business value by advancing sustainability?

Shared four AI takeaways

We wanted to share four clear take-aways from our discussion: Connect AI to business priorities; Streamline ESG operations; Anchor AI in commercial value; Use AI responsibly. The discussion also noted that many organisations are still very much in the exploring phase, and that data mindsets, capabilities and governance are needed to scale AI’s sustainability potential without losing sight of its footprint.

Contributed to Børsen article

This week Koral contributed to a news article for Børsen, bringing forward the data and insights we have gathered over the past many months on how AI can support the sustainable transition - and how leading companies are managing the risks. I total; we have spoken with 15 of the largest companies in Denmark along with a range of experts working at the intersection of AI and sustainability.

Highlighted responsible AI use

Here are three key takeaways: Strengthen strategy and business: Use AI to make sustainability commercial for example, by giving customers simple access to ESG product data. Create internal efficiencies: Automate COâ‚‚ accounting, supplier screening, or build an internal ESG chatbot. Think responsibly: Be mindful of energy use - and train employees to use AI in a responsible way.
