Karma Foundation established

Karma Foundation established. Makanneh bridge built. The first 15 girls went to school in Sahun with bursary palces.

Supported communities during Ebola

Ebola crisis. Karma continued to support the Tiwai communities.

Entrepreneurs’ fund launched

Entrepreneurs’ fund established to enable traders to get goods to the communities. Entrepreneurs’ fund rolled out to Kambama, Mapuma & Jene villages.

Supported sustainable livelihoods

200 farmers in 8 communities supported through sustainablelivelihood work. Partnership project providing nutrition, health and gender balance training.

Expanded bursary funding

All 8 communities receiving bursary funding to send girls to school. 135 girls still receiving an education throughout Covid with teachers' support. Health fund established.

Higher education support

First two girls from the communities in higher education. 28 beneficiaries of the health fund.

Community trade transport

Established Community Trade Transportation business, to increase income and access to the market. Toilet development begins. 5 girls in higher education. 10 community teachers are supported and 3 are teacher training.
