In November 2019, Kakou Technologies became the first UK engineering company to certify as a B Corporation.

Day-to-day improvements

We continuously make improvements to our day-to-day activities to lessen the impact we have on the planet and our local environment.

Community social enterprise work

Through our social enterprise Kakou CIC, we provide cross-curricular activities combining our love of science and engineering with the creative arts. Our community-focused Social Fuse programme develops skills, and educates people about the contribution of the creative sciences to their everyday lives.

Three local firms – Choice Utility, Green Arch Consulting and Kakou are highlighting the strategic advantages of integrating ESG principles into business plans and processes. They are hoping to spread awareness of the importance of ESG and the impact it could have on the future of small businesses in Chesterfield.
