Sustainability Summary
- This is an unclaimed profile. J.Clay has not joined Sustainability Tracker to verify their sustainability credentials. We gathered what we could from public sources.
J.Clay presents sustainability as part of its production, packaging and sourcing decisions. The company says that since 2021 all socks have been produced in Portugal, with short supply chains and fair wages in production. It states that more than half of its socks are produced with green electricity, using over 1,000 solar panels at its supplier in Portugal. J.Clay also says its yarns are OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 certified, and that its ECO-Line uses at least 70% sustainable materials. For shipping, it uses grass-cardboard boxes, paper shipping bags and plastic-free tape made from recycled paper and natural rubber.
